Job summary

Capio Recruitment Limited is partnering with a well-established national wealth management firm to recruit an experienced Paraplanner.

You will work remotely with day-to-day autonomy, handling complex research and report writing for high-net-worth clients, with quarterly travel to an office as needed. The role offers flexibility and a clear path to contribute to holistic financial planning services.

Qualifications

• Proven paraplanning experience within a wealth management environment.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or significant progress towards completion.
• Sound knowledge of UK pensions, investments, and tax-efficient planning structures.
• Comfort working independently in a remote setup, with quarterly office travel.

Responsibilities

• Research and craft comprehensive suitability reports for retirement, investment and estate planning.
• Collaborate with Financial Planners on report preparation and strategy.
• Conduct product and investment analysis to support portfolio construction.
• Manage paraplanning workflow remotely with day-to-day autonomy over schedules.

About the Company:

We are partnering with a well-established national wealth management firm recognised for delivering holistic financial advice, bespoke pension solutions, and discretionary investment management to private and corporate clients.

Role Summary:

If you are an experienced Paraplanner seeking genuine remote working flexibility, this role offers day-to-day autonomy with minimal travel requirements. Working with an established national firm, you will handle complex technical research and report writing across high-net-worth cases, supporting advisors to deliver a great service to their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and construct comprehensive suitability reports across retirement, investment, and estate planning, giving you deep technical exposure to complex, high-value client scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with Financial Planners on report preparation and strategy, sharpening your advisory knowledge and establishing strong professional partnerships across the business.
• Conduct product and investment analysis, deepening your technical expertise in portfolio construction and cashflow modelling.
• Manage your paraplanning pipeline independently from home, giving you complete day-to-day autonomy over your working schedule and file delivery.

Requirements:

• Proven paraplanning experience within a wealth management environment.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or significant progress towards completion.
• Sound technical knowledge of UK pensions, investments, and tax-efficient planning structures.
• Comfort working independently in a remote setup, with the flexibility to travel to an office approximately quarterly.
