Job summary

Cooper Parry Wealth is seeking a Paraplanner to support Relationship Managers with technical financial planning and accurate client analyses. You will write full financial plans, handle complex calculations, and contribute to a holistic planning approach for high net worth clients.

The role emphasises organisation, prioritisation and working towards professional qualifications. A flexible work approach includes home and client-site work.

Qualifications

• Paraplanner with experience
• Experience in writing full financial plans
• Strong understanding of holistic financial planning
• Experience with high net worth clients
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to simplify complex
• Excellent organisation and workload prioritisation
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
• Desirable: Chartered or Certified Financial Planner in progress

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of technical support to Relationship Managers
• Prepare for client annual meetings
• Analyze clients' financial positions accurately and comprehensively
• Create cashflow modelling using Voyant Go
• Construct the advice underpinning each financial plan
• Ensure the quality, accuracy and compliance of reports and advice
• Perform complex calculations (e.g., inheritance tax, carry forward, tapered pension contributions)

Other Day-to-day Responsibilities Include…

• Provide a high level of technical support to Relationship Managers
• Complete the preparation for client annual meetings
• Complete an accurate and comprehensive analysis of client’s financial position
• Creating cashflow modelling using Voyant Go
• Construct the advice underpinning each financial plan
• Responsible for the quality, accuracy and compliance of reports and advice
• Correctly carrying out complex calculations e.g. inheritance tax, carry forward and tapered pension contributions

About You...

As a Paraplanner, you will love the technical aspect of financial planning. You will have honed your analytical skills and have an acute level of attention to detail. You will also…

• Experience in writing full financial plans
• A true understanding of holistic financial planning
• Have worked with high net worth clients
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to simplify the complex
• Top‑notch organisation skills and ability to actively prioritise your workload
• Ability to juggle lots of different tasks comfortably and deliver work within agreed timescales
• The Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
• Working towards the Chartered or Certified Financial Planner qualification (desirable)
