• Prepare technical summaries, recommendation matrices, and investment comparisons.
• Use cashflow modelling software and risk profiling tools to support the advice process.
• Keep up to date with changes in regulation, tax law, and financial products.

Job Description

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Technical Paraplanner on behalf of a well-established Financial Advisory in Liverpool to join the team on a permanent basis. This role is central to delivering high-quality advice, ensuring that every recommendation is technically sound, compliant, and tailored to client circumstances. You will work closely with Client Facing Paraplanners, Financial Planners, and Client Partners, providing the analytical expertise that underpins the advice process.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret fact finds, cashflows, and meeting notes to identify planning opportunities and construct advice frameworks.
• Conduct in-depth technical analysis across pensions, tax planning, protection, and investments.
• Lead the preparation of suitability reports—initial, ongoing, and ad hoc.
• Project manage implementation cases through to sign-off, coordinating with advice and administrative teams.
• Prepare technical summaries, recommendation matrices, and investment comparisons.
• Use cashflow modelling software and risk profiling tools to support the advice process.
• Keep up to date with changes in regulation, tax law, and financial products.

Candidate Criteria

• Level 4 financial services qualification with working towards chartered status desirable
• Proven experience in paraplanning or financial planning support roles
• Strong analytical and technical skills, with attention to detail and precision
• Ability to interpret complex client information and produce accurate, high-quality outputs
• Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
