Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to take the next step in your financial planning career? Join our Cambridge Wealth Planning team and play a key role supporting Wealth Planners in delivering high-quality, holistic financial advice that truly makes a difference to clients' futures. The Opportunity Our Paraplanners are central to delivering great client outcomes. Working closely with Wealth Planners, you'll carry out in-depth research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning to help shape tailored financial solutions. You'll prepare clear and client-focused suitability reports, support cashflow modelling, and contribute ideas that help our team continuously improve how we serve clients. This is an exciting opportunity to build your technical expertise, work collaboratively with a knowledgeable team, and be part of a dynamic, growing wealth management business with a strong reputation for excellence.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct detailed research and analysis across a full range of financial planning products.
  • Prepare accurate cashflow models and suitability reports that inform client recommendations.
  • Ensure all work meets FCA standards and internal compliance requirements.
  • Proactively spot opportunities for further advice and support Wealth Planners in delivering a seamless client experience.
  • Keep your technical knowledge up to date and contribute to process improvement and best practice sharing across the team.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience providing high-quality paraplanning support within a financial planning environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products.
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • RQF Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
  • Ambition to work towards Chartered Financial Planner status (desirable).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with XPlan or cashflow planning tools is a plus.
