Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-established financial planning team based in Trafford.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review cases and collaborate with Financial Planners to fully understand recommendations in line with client needs and objectives
  • Check and confirm fact-find information with Financial Planners
  • Review ceding scheme details and liaise with providers to obtain any missing information
  • Ensure recommendations are suitable and compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Draft and adapt high-quality suitability reports based on discussions with Financial Planners
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify appropriate financial solutions
  • Prepare cash flow plans alongside Financial Planners using cash flow modelling tools
  • Maintain accurate and compliant client records using back-office systems
  • Identify and raise any discrepancies on client files with the Financial Planner
Candidate Profile
  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (desired)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Paraplanner
  • Strong understanding of the financial planning process
  • Solid experience in pensions, investments (including ISAs and bonds), IHT and trust cases; protection knowledge preferable
  • Familiarity with financial research tools such as FE Analytics and cash flow modelling tools such as Voyant
