Job summary

Cluett Reeve Ltd. is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our growing Financial Planning team in a Whiteley-based office.

The role focuses on turning complex financial planning into clear, well-researched advice and delivering accurate suitability reports for Advisers’ recommendations. You will research planning options across pensions, investments, inheritance tax planning, protection and equity release, document conclusions, and support the Adviser with timely case progression.

Qualifications

• You will ideally have around five years of relevant experience, particularly with investment and pension cases.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent qualification.
• Methodically worker with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to research and resolve solving technical financial planning questions.
• Ability to explain complex information in clear, straightforward language.
• Ability to take ownership of your work and follows cases through.
• Ability to ask questions when information is incomplete or something does not add up.
• Welcomes constructive discussion about the best outcome for a client.
• Communicates clearly with Advisers and colleagues.
• Enjoys contributing to a close-knit team.

• Working with Advisers and Client Relationship Managers to manage priorities, handovers and deadlines.
• Improving the quality, consistency and efficiency of reports and processes.
• Sharing your technical knowledge and helping colleagues develop their understanding.

Paraplanner Salary: £47,000-£55,000, depending on qualifications and relevant experience

Location: Whiteley - office-based, with free on-site parking

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am-5.00 pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break
