Job summary

Resource Matters Ltd, a Leicester-based wealth management firm, is seeking a Paraplanner to support financial planners and the paraplanning team. The role involves preparing FCA-compliant suitability reports and gathering information from colleagues to ensure accurate documentation for clients.

You will assist in research and due diligence on third-party products, contribute to cost benchmarking of SSAS and SIPP products, and generate cash flow reports to enhance client experience and compliance.

Qualifications

• Level 4 CII Diploma or equivalent experience in financial planning.
• Educated to A level standard (or equivalent).
• Minimum 1 year experience in a financial services paraplanning role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare FCA-compliant suitability reports for diverse client cases.
• Collaborate with Financial Planners and the team to gather all relevant information.
• Support Head of Paraplanning with research and due diligence on third party products and services.
• Assist in annual cost comparison benchmarking of SSAS and SIPP products against competitors.
• Work closely with Paraplanning team and provide technical support to pension teams and consultants.
• Produce cash flow reports to help improve client experience and compliance.
• Create bespoke one-off comparisons and reports for special client cases.

Education

The Role will include

• Preparation of suitability reports that meet FCA requirements for a variety of clients ensuring effective documentation and client communication.
• Work closely with Financial Planners and the wider teams to obtain all relevant information.
• To assist the Head of Paraplanning to carry out research and due diligence in relation to third party products and services recommended to clients.
• To assist in the annual cost comparison benchmarking of our SSAS and SIPP products against our competitors
• To work closely with other members of the Paraplanning Team
• To provide technical support to pension teams and consultants alongside other members of the Paraplanning Team
• To produce cash flow reports for Financial Planners to help improve client experience and compliance of work undertaken.
• To produce one off comparisons and reports for bespoke client cases where necessary

The Candidate Essentials

• part or full Level 4 CII Diploma in Financial Planning (or experience).
• Educated to A level standard (or equivalent) as a minimum.
• A minimum of 1 years' experience in a financial services Para Planning role
