Job summary

Foster Denovo in the UK is seeking a Paraplanner to provide research and advice to Partners, including Recommendation and Strategy reports. You will contribute to high-level, client-centred reporting written with the client in mind.

This role supports Partners to focus on relationships and business development. The successful candidate will be Level 4 qualified, with Paraplanning experience in an IFA environment, and a proven ability to deliver quality research and client-friendly advice while

Job description

Purpose of the job:

To help to deliver Foster Denovo’s Client Services Proposition by providing a high quality research and reporting service to high net worth clients and Senior Partners. This allows our Partners to focus on the client relationship and developing relationships with new clients.

Job summary:

You will be responsible for providing research and advice to the Partners including Recommendation and Strategy reports.

We successfully deliver high level, complex reports written specifically with our clients in mind. This is achieved through a consistent high level of service and expertise both as individuals and as a team.

Key skills and personal attributes:

Level 4 qualified

Experience of working as a Paraplanner within an IFA environment.

Proven record of conducting research and writing quality Recommendation reports. Focus on client friendly whilst meeting Compliance needs.

Knowledge and experience:

• Pre and post retirement
• Pension transfers & SIPP provider
• Investments
• Taxation

Adhering to Foster Denovo’s Service Excellence, you will be expected to always provide

exceptional client service.

• The client is at the heart of our values and therefore all communication should be bespoke to them and written in concise Plain English.
• Ensure the advice you provide is considerate to the client and appropriate, and if not, have the confidence to challenge the Partner.
• You will be required to keep up to date with all relevant training and best practice to enable this standard to be met.
• This includes company and departmental training, competence, and development initiatives.
• Commitment to pass basic internal financial industry exams set by within 3 months of employment.
• Regularly provide workflow updates to Partners regarding their cases so they feel in control and can manage client expectations.
• Have a thorough understanding of the Foster Denovo advice process, reporting format, pre-approval process and regulatory requirements.
