Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our practices in Ayrshire/West Kilbride and Stevenston. The role includes prescriber duties and visiting palliative patients as required, with a flexible working pattern within a dynamic medical group.

As a Paramedic Practitioner, you will have HCPC registration, ALS provider certification, and a commitment to CPD to support high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider certification.
• Accredited Paramedic Practitioner.
• Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD) in the medical field.

Responsibilities

• Provide paramedic services across Ayrshire/West Kilbride and Stevenston.
• Prescribe as a practitioner and visit palliative patients as needed.
• Work within a busy MDT to deliver high quality care.
• Adapt role to patient needs and organisational priorities.
• Maintain robust clinical skills and participate in ongoing professional development.
