Job summary

A forward-thinking GP practice in Rochester is looking for a motivated and experienced Paramedic to join their multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered clinical services and carry out home visits, manage chronic disease, and respond to urgent care demands. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or BSc in Paramedic Science, be a registered Paramedic, and possess strong clinical skills. This position involves working primarily on Wednesdays for 7.5 hours.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paramedic to join our multidisciplinary team within a forward‑thinking GP practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of primary care, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered clinical services and helping to ease the demand on GP appointments.

Shift Pattern***

Wednesday only 0900-1700 (7.5 hours)

Contract 7.5 hours

Main duties of the job

Conduct home visits and contribute to care for housebound and frail patients.

Support chronic disease management in collaboration with GPs and nurses.

Administer medications, including prescribing where qualified.

Work within national and local clinical guidelines and protocols.

Contribute to emergency response situations and support same‑day care demand.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and records.

Participate in clinical audits, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
