Job summary

Thompsons Solicitors in Sheffield is seeking a Paralegal to join our Small Claims team within the Personal Injury department. You will support high-volume cases from initial evidence gathering to instructing medical experts, with a focus on clear communication and client care.

No prior legal experience is required for this role, and after training you may move into a hybrid working pattern. You will work closely with colleagues to progress cases and ensure clients feel heard and informed.

The Role

You’ll join a team managing a high-volume caseload, with support and guidance from experienced colleagues. Working closely with clients involved in road traffic accidents, you'll play a key role in progressing cases from initial evidence gathering through to instructing medical experts. Throughout the process, you'll ensure every client feels heard, informed and supported. Clear, confident communication, whether by phone, email or in person, is essential, along with the ability to stay organised and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
