Legal Southwest Ltd in Plymouth is seeking a Paralegal to join its busy Residential Conveyancing team. The role supports fee earners with day-to-day progression of property transactions and delivering high levels of client service.

The candidate should have experience in residential conveyancing and strong organisation, communication, and team-working skills to handle a varied workload and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential conveyancing as a Paralegal/Conveyancing Assistant/Legal Assistant.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
• Confident and professional written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion and post-completion.
• Open new files and complete client onboarding procedures.
• Carry out client identification and AML checks.
• Prepare client-care documentation and draft completion statements.
• Review Land Registry entries and obtain title documents.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other parties.
• Provide regular progress updates and manage correspondence.
