A local government authority is seeking a dedicated paralegal to join its Litigation and Education teams. The role involves providing comprehensive administrative support, preparing court bundles, and liaising with external providers. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive paralegal to work within our Litigation and Education legal teams. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of local government, supporting vital services that protect and support local communities including Trading Standards and SEND teams. The role involves supporting on a wide variety of matters across both teams; including Court bundle preparation, liaison with external providers including Chambers, arranging panels and organising attendance, supporting with debt collection work and case administration and support. The role offers an opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding cases directly impacting our people and communities in Staffordshire. You will be part of a wider Legal Services team committed to delivering high‑quality legal services in the public sector. You will also have the opportunity of developing your knowledge and experience in two different areas of law within the wider contentious team.
