We are seeking a Paralegal for the Insured Lines team at Liberty Blume in Bradford, to cover a 12-month parental leave. The role primarily involves defending claims made against our clients.

You will manage your own case portfolio using a case management system, utilizing the latest technology for tasks such as case setup, notification processing, and payment management. You will also identify opportunities for process improvements, including automation and AI integration.

All paralegals receive support from a Team Manager to develop their skills and advance their legal careers. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of our internal claims processes across various practice areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of pre-litigated claims.
• Collaborate with the legal team to set up, convert, and progress claims.
• Handle administrative tasks related to claims.
• Conduct investigations and due diligence using internal and external databases.
• Ensure compliance with payment and regulatory procedures.
• Perform legal research using specialized data sources.
• Design and test automation solutions with Legal Operations and Shared Service Centre.
• Draft professional communications to maintain the department's image.

Candidate Profile
