UKAS, the United Kingdom’s National Accreditation Body, is seeking a Paralegal to support the Director of Legal across governance, contracts, regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement. You will prepare governance papers, review policies, and assist with due diligence and cross-functional projects.

The role requires a Law degree or conversion course and at least 1 year of paralegal experience, with strong IT skills and keen attention to detail.

Competenze

• Law degree (LLB) or law conversion course (GDL).
• Good research and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Familiarity with UK regulatory bodies and frameworks.
• Interest in public and commercial law.

Mansioni

• Draft agendas, papers, minutes and logs for governance meetings and maintain documents.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and supplier contracts and related documents.
• Address legal queries, complaints and disputes, escalating as needed with counsel supervision.
• Conduct research on legal/regulatory matters relating to accreditation and governance.
