Job summary

Field Seymour Parkes in Reading is seeking a Family Paralegal to support the team across a broad range of family law matters. You will work with experienced solicitors and partners, gaining hands-on experience in divorce, prenuptial agreements, domestic abuse cases, and advisory work.

You will manage client correspondence, draft documents, prepare court bundles, and conduct research while developing professional skills in a supportive environment with clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree with 2:1 (preferred) and interest in Family Law.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Managing client correspondence and maintaining files.

The Opportunity

As a Family Paralegal, you will play an integral role in supporting the team on a wide variety of matters, including:

• Divorce and separation
• Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
• Domestic abuse cases
• General family law advisory work

Working closely with fee earners at all levels, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing client correspondence and maintaining files
• Drafting legal documents, court forms and witness statements
