A leading global law firm in Birmingham is seeking a Claims Assistant to support lawyers in managing complex injury claims. The role involves drafting documents, assisting with liability enquiries, and general administration. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication and organizational abilities, with prior experience in a legal environment. We handle the whole range of complex and high value claims including fatality acquired brain injury spinal cord damage amputation chronic pain the funding of long-term care and rehabilitation.
Your role will involve assisting our lawyers and Partners with all aspects of the day to day management of claims everything from assisting with liability enquiries obtaining and reviewing medical records and reports drafting witness statements preparing instructions to Experts and Counsel preparing Counsel / Court bundles and any general admin duties.
Applicants must have excellent communication and organisational skills along with the ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines. Although not essential knowledge of the litigation process would be useful. Previous experience in a similar legal setting is required.
