Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join our Asbestos Litigation department. Our specialist asbestos solicitors represent victims and their families from all over the UK and are highly experienced in asbestos litigation. The firm and its lawyers have been consistently ranked in the top tiers in both Chambers UK Guide and the Legal 500 for personal injury (including industrial disease) and are a UK leader in the field of asbestos litigation.

Role

The role is a fast‑paced, exciting position that includes

  • Dealing with CFAs and funding
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries from clients
  • Reviewing medical records
  • Preparing witness statements
  • Preparing instructions to experts
Skills & Qualifications
  • Law degree or equivalent experience
  • High levels of motivation and organisation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good levels of IT literacy (we use a range of specialist software)
  • An enjoyment of team work
  • Excellent client care skills in order to deal with sensitive issues involving clients who may be emotional and vulnerable.
