📍 Location: Swindon (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)

💼 Salary: £30,000–£37,500 per annum

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Paralegal who’s ready to take ownership, contribute meaningfully, and grow within a collaborative legal and compliance team. This is a hands‑on role with variety, autonomy, and visibility across the business, working closely with the UK Legal Counsel and other key stakeholders to support legal operations, policy development, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, and manage legal contracts (e.g. NDAs, engagement letters)
  • Monitor regulatory changes (e.g. IR35) and update internal policies accordingly
  • Support debt recovery efforts, including pre‑action correspondence and debtor communications
  • Liaise with external advisors, enforcement agents, and HMCTS
  • Assist in managing claims, disputes, and data protection compliance (GDPR)
  • Contribute to policy creation and supplier documentation management
  • Provide pragmatic legal advice to internal teams

  • Law degree (required) + LPC, BPTC/BVC, or CILEX (desirable)
  • Experience with commercial contracts and dispute resolution (desirable)
  • Prior experience in an in‑house legal team (a plus)
  • Strong contract drafting and communication skills

  • A commercial mindset and pragmatic approach to legal problem‑solving
