We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Paralegal to join our Corporate Legal team. This is a pivotal role supporting legal operations, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contractual matters. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. You'll work closely with General and Senior Counsel, the Data Protection Officer, and cross-functional teams to ensure legal and compliance excellence across the business. Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to the Legal Department and Data Protection Officer.
  • Assist with legal research, drafting, and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.
  • Support corporate governance and compliance activities, including regulatory filings and internal policy management.
  • Maintain and manage legal files, records, and contract management systems.
  • Liaise with internal departments, external counsel, and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Prepare legal reports, board and committee papers, minutes, and resolutions.
  • Support litigation and dispute resolution by gathering evidence and preparing documentation.
  • Monitor legal developments and ensure timely updates on regulatory changes.
Qualifications
  • Law degree or recognised paralegal qualification (CILEX, NALP, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a paralegal or legal support role, ideally within a corporate or in-house environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with legal document management systems.
  • High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Knowledge of the food or manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
