Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a dedicated Court of Protection Paralegal for a permanent role in Brighton. The ideal candidate should have experience with Court of Protection matters and possess strong organisational skills. Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals and making a real difference in their lives? We are seeking a dedicated Court of Protection Paralegal to join our client on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen interest in mental capacity law.

Key Responsibilities

Assist fee earners with Court of Protection matters, including deputyship applications and ongoing case management.

Draft legal documents, correspondence, and prepare bundles for hearings.

Liaise with clients, their families, and third-party professionals with empathy and professionalism.

Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Support with billing and administrative tasks as required.

About You

Previous experience in Court of Protection or Private Client work is highly desirable.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to deadlines.

Confident communicator with a client-focused approach.
