Job summary

Stockport Nub News is seeking a Panel Wirer for an electronics manufacturing role in Stockport. You will wire large scale projects using cabinet, rack and box wiring techniques and assemble wire harnesses and looms.

The role offers fully flexible hours with optional overtime, long-term stability and progression within a market-leading electronics manufacturer. Training and future career development are provided, with an early finish on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret technical/schematic drawings.
• Experience with cabinet, rack and box wiring.
• Creation, routing and securement of wire harnesses and looms.
• Termination of various connector types.

Are you a Panel Wirer looking for a role with flexible working hours, plenty of optional overtime and long term stable work, joining a market-leading electronics manufacturer?

In this role you will be responsible for wiring large scale projects using techniques such as: cabinet wiring, rack wiring and box wiring. You will also create, route and secure multiple wire/cable harnesses and looms, as well as terminating a variety of different connectors.

Founded nearly 40 years ago, this manufacturer provide specialist products for the MOD and aviation sector. With a turnover of 50 million, they aim to continue dominating their niche sector for years to come, with multiple sites across the UK.

This role would suit a Panel Wirer with the ability to interpret technical drawings, looking for a hands-on role within a highly-reputable manufacturing business.

The Role

• Cabinet wiring, rack wiring and box wiring
• Creation, routing and securement of multiple wire/cable harnesses and looms
• Termination of a variety of different connector types
• Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week, fully flexible
