Junior Panel Wirer

Location: Milton Keynes
Type: Temporary to Permanent (after 3 months)
Hours: Monday Friday
Pay: £15.68ph + £1.47 per hour Holiday Pay/ £25,396.80 per annum

About the Role

An excellent opportunity to join a leading controls panel manufacturing company in Milton Keynes. We re seeking a Junior Panel Wirer who s eager to develop their skills and grow within the business. After a successful 3-month period, this role offers a permanent position with genuine progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate panels and fit electrical components according to detailed engineering drawings.
  • Perform drilling, tapping, trunking, and conduit work on panels.
  • Install electrical components such as circuit breakers, fuses, PLCs, power supplies, motors, and drives.
  • Wire control panels crimping, soldering, terminating, and stripping wires.
  • Carry out basic testing of control panels.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
  • Demonstrable electrical knowledge or a formal electrical qualification.
  • Eagerness to learn and progress within the company.
