Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Panel Wirer for a manufacturing role based on the East/ West Sussex borders. You will wire control panels and control boxes, with some general panel fitting tasks involved to complete assemblies.

Responsibilities include panel wiring, point-to-point wiring, cable crimping and terminating, preparing metal work, interpreting schematics and GA drawings, and laying out panels for assembly, including copper busbar fitting where required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Panel Wirer required.
• Experience reading and interpreting schematic and general arrangement drawings.
• Ability to wire various types of control panels and control boxes.
• Involvement in general panel fitting work as part of duties.
• Familiarity with bus-bars is beneficial.

Job description

Due to healthy order books, my client is urgently recruiting for experienced Panel Wirers.

Experienced Panel Wirer required for manufacturing company based on the East/West Sussex borders.

As a Panel Wirer, you will be required to wire various types of control panels and control boxes. With this role there will also be an element of general panel fitting work involved.

As a Panel Wirer, you will be required to carry out the following tasks:

• Panel Wiring
• Point to point wiring
• Cable crimping and terminating
• Panel fitting, marking out, drilling and tapping work.
• Preparation of metal work
• Experience of working with bus-bars would be beneficial
• Interpretation of schematic and general arrangement drawings.
• Layout of panels
• Panel assembly including, preparation of metalwork prior to assembly, cabling and small wiring.
