Job summary

Recruit4staff is assisting a leading engineering client in finding a skilled Panel Wirer based in Whitland, Pembrokeshire. The successful candidate will work primarily in panel building, and the position offers a salary between £32,000 and £37,000 depending on experience, alongside other benefits such as ongoing training, a pension scheme, and opportunities for career progression.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of NVQ/City & Guilds level 2 in Electrical Engineering, a driver's license, and the ability to read electrical schematics. This role entails using tools to complete panel assembly and basic automation tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of NVQ/City & Guilds level 2 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Full driver's licence is required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Complete panel building work initially in the workshop.
• Work from drawings and electrical schematics.
• Fit components with suitable fixtures.
• Determine suitable wire types and sizes.
• Use hand and power tools.
• Complete basic automation work.
