Job summary

AWD online in Telford is seeking a hands-on Panel Beater / Bodyshop Panel Technician to repair accident-damaged vehicles to high standards. The role involves assessing damage, repairing or replacing panels, dismantling and rebuilding vehicles, and performing plastic, MIG and spot welding.

Salary ranges from £45,000 to £60,000 per year, with a monthly bonus, overtime paid at time and a half, training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a panel beating or vehicle finishing technician role.
• Skilled in vehicle panel repair and body repair work.
• Welding experience.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised.
• Cooperative team member who is keen to support others.
• Ability to maintain quality under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assess damage and decide repair or replacement.
• Remove damaged panels and replace panels where required.
• Repair damaged chassis and vehicle panels.
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles after repairs are completed.
• Carry out plastic, MIG and spot welding.
• Ensure high quality and customer service standards.
