Job summary

ACS Automotive in Southend-on-Sea is looking for an experienced Panel Beater to join their team. This permanent, full-time role offers £45k–£55k per annum.

Typical duties include removing damaged panels, inspecting damage to decide repairs, stripping and refitting panels, plus vehicle servicing. Applicants should have prior Panel Beater experience; NVQ or ATA is preferred; welding or panel bonding certs are a plus, with the ability to work well both in a team and alone.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Panel Beater is essential.
• NVQ or ATA qualification is preferred.
• Welding or Panel Bonding certification is desirable.
• Ability to work within a team and on your own.
• Keen eye for detail and quality.
• Strong understanding of vehicle refurbishment.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 6pm)

• Removing damaged panels.
• Inspecting vehicles and establishing the extent of the damage and deciding on a repair or replacement.
• Stripping/Refitting new and repaired panels.
• Vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Reporting unseen damage as soon as it’s identified.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.

Your Background & Skill:

• Previous experience as a Panel Beater is essential.
• NVQ or ATA Qualified (preferred but not essential).
• Welding or Panel Bonding Certification is desirable, but not essential.
• Ability to work within a team and on your own.
• Keen eye for detail and quality.
• Strong and thorough understanding of vehicle refurbishment.
