Job summary

Our Client in Croydon is seeking a skilled Panel Beater / Panel Technician with ATA accreditation or NVQ Level 3 to join a busy accident repair centre. You will repair damaged vehicles to manufacturer specifications using the latest tools and techniques.

Key responsibilities include repairing and replacing damaged panels, welding, dent pulling, aligning body panels, and working to deadlines while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship in Panel Beating or Vehicle Body Repair (ATA or NVQ3 preferred).
• Previous experience as Panel Beater / Panel Technician in a busy body shop.
• Strong knowledge of modern repair techniques for minor/moderate crash damage.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
• Self-motivated team player focused on customer satisfaction and bonus targets.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality accident repairs meeting manufacturer and customer standards.
• Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels as required.
• Use welding equipment, dent pullers, and filler techniques for panel repairs.
• Align body panels and parts for assembly, ensuring a perfect fit.
• Work efficiently within a team to meet deadlines and production targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Stay up to date with modern vehicle repair techniques and industry standards.
