Job summary

Savant Recruitment Experts is seeking an experienced Firewall / Palo Alto Security Engineer to design, build, and configure perimeter security infrastructure across multiple sites. You will collaborate with routing, Zscaler security, and automation teams to deliver firewall-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, and Git.

Key responsibilities include deploying Palo Alto NGFWs in HA configurations, managing Panorama, and executing policy separation while ensuring strict change control.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Palo Alto NGFW & Panorama experience.
• Strong knowledge of zone-based firewalls, HA deployments, BGP/OSPF routing.
• Experience with firewall migrations, policy separation, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Perimeter build-out: design/deploy Palo Alto firewalls (HA pairs) at new sites.
• Panorama management: configure device groups, template stacks, and RBAC controls.
• Policy separation & cleanup: migrate policies and remove cross-entity access from divested infra.
• Collaboration & automation: work with routing and Zscaler teams; use Terraform, Ansible, Git for firewall-as-code.
