Arthur Rank Hospice Charity in Cambridge invites applications for a Wellbeing Assistant. The role is based at the hospice with one community day per week across Cambridgeshire, on a fixed-term basis for 6 months. You will design care plans, support groups, and provide holistic care to patients and families.

A driving license and travel across the county are required; a DBS check is essential. Interviews are scheduled for 17th November 2026. Salary starts at £25,760 and rises to £27,476.

Qualifications

• Hold Level 3 vocational qualification (e.g. Health & Social Care) or Care Certificate, or hold Level 2 qualification with significant experience in palliative or end-of-life care.
• Essential to have previous experience within health & social care, or rehabilitation service.
• Must hold a valid driving license and be able to travel across Cambridgeshire.
• Post is subject to an enhanced DBS check with Child and Adult barred lists.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement individual care programmes for patients and carers.
• Plan and coordinate patient support groups and activities.
• Provide personalised and holistic emotional, psychological, and practical support to patients with advanced serious illness and their families.
