St Wilfrid's Hospice (South Coast) Limited in Chichester is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate palliative and end-of-life care on our Inpatient unit. The role requires NMC registration, a degree/diploma in nursing, and a willingness to gain further qualifications such as an NMC Practice Assessor.

The post offers permanent, full-time work with a shift pattern including long and short days, with some night and weekend work as part of the rota.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration and a valid UK practice licence.
• Degree or diploma in nursing or equivalent.
• Palliative care experience desirable.
• Right to work in the UK is essential.
• NMC approved Practice Assessor qualification or willingness to gain experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding palliative and end-of-life care on the Inpatient unit.
• Deliver holistic nursing care reflecting patients’ needs and preferences.
• Build supportive relationships with patients and families with compassion.
• Utilise clinical judgement to manage complex symptoms and deliver safe care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve quality of life and uphold dignity.
