Job summary

BSW Group is seeking a General Operative to join our Manufacturing team at the Needham site. The role involves safely and accurately manufacturing and repairing pallets/wood products using provided tools, aiming to maximise output while meeting customer standards and design specifications in work orders.

The position is multi-skilled, with potential duties including painting, labeling, stenciling, sorting pallets, offloading timber and general cleaning to support timely manufacture.

Qualifications

• Health and safety procedures must be followed at all times.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to perform painting, labeling, stenciling and other pallet-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and repair pallets/wood products safely and accurately.
• Set up benches and machines and maintain quality standards per work orders.
• Identify and report equipment problems to line management promptly.
• Assist with loading timber, sorting pallets and general site housekeeping.
