Role & Details

Role: Pallet Repairer

Location: Grays

Shifts: 6:00am-6:00pm & 6:00pm-6:00am (4 on 4 off rota)

Pay: £12.21 per hour (time and half overtime)

These are temp to perm positions. Extrastaff are currently recruiting for Pallet Repairers to join a busy and supportive warehouse team in the Grays area.

You will be working 12-hour shifts, on a 4 on 4 off basis. The shift consists of 2 days and 2 nights, spanning from 06:00 until 18:00 and 18:00 until 06:00.

Duties

• Restoring damaged pallets, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards
• Manual pallet sort and restore (ability to work with hand tools and electric tools is essential)
• Automated pallet sort with specially designed equipment to reduce manual handling
• Loading and unloading pallets from trailers
• Responsible for achieving production deadlines and targets
• YOU MUST enjoy physical work
