Job summary

CHEP is recruiting a Pallet Repair Operative in South Ockendon (RM15). You will inspect and repair pallets in a fast-paced production environment using hand tools and supporting automation and new technologies.

Shifts are double days, Mon-Fri (6 am-2 pm / 2 pm-10 pm, weekly rotation). Salary is £27,710 with a 20% shift allowance (£33,252 per year), with a full-time permanent contract and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production or repair environment is preferred.
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical tasks.
• Safety-conscious and reliable.
• Able to work to quality standards in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to learn and work with automation.
• Experience in using power tools and hand tools would be beneficial.
