Job summary
CHEP is hiring a Pallet Repair Operative in South Ockendon (RM15). You will inspect and repair pallets in a fast-paced production environment, using hand tools and collaborating with automation and new technologies. The role runs on double day shifts (6 am–2 pm / 2 pm–10 pm) with weekly rotation.
Be ready for manual handling and physical tasks, with a safety-focused mindset. Training on automation and tools is provided, and you will contribute to quality targets while keeping health and safety
Qualifications
- Experience in a production or repair environment.
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical tasks.
- Safety-conscious and reliable.
- Able to work to quality standards in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to learn and work with automation.
- Experience in using power tools would be beneficial.
