Overview

Branta are recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities maintenance company for an experienced Painter & Decorator to work across two static commercial sites in the Northumberland. This is a hands-on role carrying out planned and reactive painting and decorating works, along with minor building fabric repairs as required. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial environments, good attention to detail, and the ability to deliver a high standard of finish with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works to a professional standard.
• Undertake basic fabric maintenance and minor repair tasks as required (e.g. patch plastering, filling, small touch-ups).
• Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and in line with company standards.
• Work collaboratively with on-site teams and contractors to maintain building presentation.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Requirements

• Qualified Painter & Decorator (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) or extensive experience in commercial painting.
• Experience working within commercial or facilities maintenance environments.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Able to pass a DBS check.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
