Job summary

CPMS, based in Elderslie, is looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to undertake reactive and project works across the West Coast of Scotland with occasional travel to other locations to support the business. The ideal candidate is time-served, can work alone or in a team, holds a valid driving licence and a Personal Track Safety (PTS) card, and has Rail industry experience.

You must be willing to travel throughout Scotland as required.

• Experience working within the Rail industry.
• Availability to travel throughout Scotland as required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and project works for clients as instructed.
• Liaise with line manager regarding status of jobs.
• Ensure work is completed to a professional standard within timescales.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
• Ensure compliance with PPE company standards.
• Maintain company vehicles per policy.
• Submit weekly job/time sheets.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Painter and Decorator to join our team. Based from our head office in Elderslie, the role involves daily travel to sites across the West Coast of Scotland, with occasional travel to other locations as required to support business needs.

The successful candidate should be a time-served Painter and Decorator and will be responsible for undertaking reactive and projects works for our main clients.

Role Responsibilities:

• Carrying out both reactive and project works for all our clients, as instructed
• Liaising with line manager, regarding status of jobs
• Ensuring work is executed and completed to a professional/acceptable standard and within given timescales
• Complying in accordance with Health & Safety regulations at all times
• Ensuring you are complying with PPE company standards
• Ensure that company vehicles are maintained in accordance with the company’s vehicle policy
• Satisfactory completion and submission of weekly job/time sheets,
