Painter and Sprayers, Neway – North West, Wirral / Cheshire

We are looking for experienced Industrial Painters and Sprayers with ICATS or TTP qualifications to join our teams working on high-profile shutdowns, maintenance, and fabrication projects.

So as a Painter and Sprayer at Neway, what will you do?

• You’ll prepare and apply protective coatings following specifications and surface preparation standards
• In Industrial environments you will carry out brush, roller, and airless spray applications
• To fully understand the expectation you’ll interpret job packs, data sheets, and technical drawings
• You’ll ensure quality control through accurate DFT (dry film thickness) and WFT (wet film thickness) checks
• Working often in confined spaces, at height, or in hazardous environments you’ll follow strict safety standards
• You will complete all documentation and daily reports required
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations you’ll contribute to our strong site safety culture

And what are we looking for?

• Valid ICATS or TTP certification (Silver, Gold, or Sprayer level)
• CCNSG Safety Passport or valid CSCS Card
• Confined Space – High Risk Entry Certification (with full breathing apparatus use)
• Proven experience in industrial painting and spraying within heavy industry
• Ability to follow specifications and apply coatings to required standards
• The ability to read and follow technical specifications and job packs
• Flexibility to travel and work on different client sites across the UK

It will be great if you also have:

• PASMA, IPAF, or Working at Height certification
• Familiarity with coating specifications
• Experience on COMAH or major infrastructure sites
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes and inspection criteria
