Job summary

Mears Group is seeking a Painter and Decorator to work across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas on kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes. You will carry out painting and decorating in occupied housing properties, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Paint and decorate following kitchen and bathroom installations.
• Prepare ceilings and walls; apply finish.
• Complete repair and refurbishment works to a high standard and within timescales.
• Undertake maintenance repairs and fault finding.
• Maintain excellent customer service and professional standards.

Annual salary: up to £32,000.00

Painter and Decorator

Location: Milton Keynes

Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week (8am-5pm Monday- Friday)

Salary up to £32,000 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card

About the role:

Are you an experienced Painter and Decorator looking to join a supportive team delivering high quality planned works? We are seeking a dedicated individual to work across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, carrying out painting and decorating activities within occupied housing properties as part of kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes.

This is a field-based role where you will be responsible for decorating following kitchen and bathroom installations, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, on time and with customer satisfaction at the heart of everything you do.

As a Painter and Decorator, you will be part of a local team delivering painting and decorating repairs and refurbishment activities to housing properties. You will ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to agreed quality standards while providing excellent customer service throughout the customer journey.

• Painting and decorating following kitchen and bathroom installations
• Preparation, painting and finishing of ceilings and walls
• Complete repair and refurbishment works to a high standard and within agreed timescales
• Undertake maintenance repairs, fault finding and refurbishment activities
• Maintain excellent customer service and professional standards at all times
• Use handheld technology to manage worksheets, timesheets, photographic evidence and other job-related activities
• Maintain company assets, vehicles and equipment in good condition
• Collect and manage materials in line with company procedures
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required
• Participate in out of hours cover if required

Key Criteria:

• Experience in painting and decorating
• Previous social housing experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant painting and decorating qualification desirable
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
