Job summary

A reputable maintenance company is seeking a full-time Painter to carry out painting works across Lancashire. The ideal candidate will be a competent painter with a full UK driving licence and confident working at height. The role

As a Painter, you will be required to carry out painting works to client satisfaction, individually or part of a team, to empty and tenanted properties. A large part of the role will be carrying out mould washes as a result of damp.

You will communicate effectively with internal office staff, colleagues, managers and customers. You will assist your colleagues to ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner. You will also perform other duties as appropriate to the job level, including providing support to colleagues as directed by their manager.

The right fit
  • Full UK Driving licence is required.
  • You will be a competent painter.

  • You have full awareness of relevant H&S requirements and considerations.
  • You will have the ability to query jobs and liaise with office staff and managers.
  • You have the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload, while working towards deadlines and agreed targets.
  • Experience of working with housing associations and managing repairs is desirable.
