Painter
  • Hourly Rate: £16.36 PAYE

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our repairs and maintenance service, specifically within the damp and mould/disrepair work stream. This role involves carrying out decoration, including damp and mould treatments, within both voids and tenanted properties

Day-to-day of the role
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, or other means as necessary.
  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Carry out treatments for damp and mould issues in residential settings.
  • Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience as a painter, with specific skills in handling damp and mould treatments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices related to painting and decorating.
