Job summary

Pybus Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer/Technician for a busy Accident Repair / Bodyshop in Rochdale. You will mask, prep and colour-match to produce high-quality finishes and ensure work meets required standards. ATA or Level 3 in Paint, or time-served painter, with around 2 years' relevant experience, is ideal.

The role requires effective workload planning, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety guidelines, with opportunities for ongoing career progression.

Qualifications

• ATA or Level 3 qualification in Paint or time served painter considered.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in vehicle paint spraying.
• Ability to plan workload and work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Mask and prepare vehicles to the required standard.
• Mix and match colours to ensure exact finishes.
• Ensure painted work is acceptable to refit and meets spec.
• Perform high volume repairs in accordance with BSI PAS 10125 standards.

They are now looking for a Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Technician for their Accident Repair / Bodyshop in Rochdale

About the Job

As an Painter/prepper, you will be responsible for:

• Checking that the vehicle has been masked and prepared to the required standard
• Mixing and matching colours
• Checking the painted job is acceptable to refit
• You will carry out high volume repairs carried out to the BSI PAS 10125 standards.

Ideal candidates will be ATA or Level 3 qualified in Paint but our client can also consider Time Served Painters.

You must be able to:

• Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed timescales
• Work skillfully and safely under pressure
• Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers specification
• Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision
• Be flexible in your approach
• Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
• You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines; for example, wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
