Job Title: Painter

Location: Livingston, Scotland

Employment Type: Temporary (3 months) with potential for permanent placement

Start Date: Immediate

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:00 (1-hour unpaid break)

Additional Hours: 1 in 4 Saturdays

Hourly Rate: £19.44

We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled and motivated Painter to join a busy and well-established bodyshop team in Livingston. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Preparing vehicles for paintwork - masking, sanding, and getting surfaces ready
  • Spray painting using water-based paints to a high standard
  • Matching colours accurately and preparing spray-out cards for precision
  • Keeping your workspace clean and equipment well-maintained
  • Supporting other areas of the bodyshop when needed - teamwork is key
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Technician / Paint Sprayer (essential)
  • A full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Confidence working independently and making decisions on the job
  • A team player who’s happy to support junior technicians and share knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing top-quality work
  • A genuine interest in the motor industry and a proactive, can-do attitude
