Job summary

McGeoch Technology Ltd. in Birmingham is recruiting a Paint Sprayer to join the manufacturing team. You will read and interpret mechanical drawings, mask components to drawing requirements and spray using wet and powder techniques at our Birmingham facility.

The role requires COSHH awareness, at least 3 years in a paint shop, and flexibility to meet production needs. The shift is late, 14:30 to 23:00, with a weekly shift allowance, plus holidays and factory shutdown closures over Christmas.

McGeoch Technology Ltd. is a well:established and expanding manufacturing company based in Birmingham and due to their current projected growth, we are now looking to recruit for the position of Paint Sprayer.

The successful applicant will be based at our clients production facility in Birmingham city centre.

The Role

Reporting to the section leader your responsibilities will be reading and understanding mechanical drawings using them to mask and spray product.

Your duties will include but not be limited to the following;

• Interpret engineering drawings
• Mask components to drawing requirements
• Spray components using wet and powder techniques
• Adhere to COSHH requirements / legislation

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience within a paint shop environment
• Inspect own work and other team members work
• Understanding of COSHH requirements
• Flexible in meeting operations needs
