An excellent opportunity for an experienced Aerospace Paint Sprayer to join a well‑established company! The role is full‑time and permanent.

Job type: Full‑Time, Permanent.
Salary: £16.00 – £18.51 per hour – depending on experience.
Location: Exeter, EX2.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Friday, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm.

The company proudly finishes a wide range of commercial, aerospace, and defence components to the highest industry standards. Due to continued success and growth, they are looking for an experienced Aerospace Paint Sprayer to join their skilled finishing team.

About The Role
  • Spray aerospace components to exacting standards and tight tolerances.
  • Prepare and mask components accurately when required.
  • Mix and prepare paint systems safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Complete job cards, work instructions, and associated paperwork.
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in aerospace paint spraying – essential.
  • Proven ability to work accurately within tight tolerances.
  • Competent in completing all associated paperwork.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in using DFTs, WFTs, surface profile gauges, and other measurement tools – essential.
Desirable
  • Experience with IRR and CARC products.
  • NADCAP experience.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 standards.

Experience with aerospace or small precision components is preferred due to the specialist nature of the work. Applicants from automotive or bodyshop backgrounds are welcome to apply, but the role may be better suited to those with aerospace‑specific experience. If you are an automotive paint sprayer with no aerospace experience but have experience working on small or detailed components, please make sure to clearly outline this in your application and CV.
