Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting Paint Preparation Operatives near Derby, with relocation to Ilkeston soon, for a well-established manufacturing operation. You will prepare products for painting, sand surfaces to required standards, and perform visual quality checks while keeping a clean, safe workspace.

The role supports production with meticulous attention to detail. Shift: Mon-Thu, 2:00pm-10:00pm; Pay: £12.75/hour, £13.00/hour with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Experience using sanders, abrasive tools, sandpaper, or similar equipment.
• Previous manufacturing, engineering, automotive, workshop, or production experience would be beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
• A hands-on attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
• Reliable, hard-working, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
