Job summary

Samsara in London offers a software engineering internship where you’ll dive into real projects from day one, paired with an engineering mentor, and gain exposure to millions of IoT devices and petabytes of real-time data.

You may work across backend, frontend, and edge AI initiatives, contribute to scalable systems, and learn alongside senior engineers while participating in customer interviews and shaping features that deliver real customer value.

Qualifications

• Currently in penultimate year of study (or second-to-last year of an integrated Master’s / MEng) in CS, Math, Software Eng, Physics, or Data Science, with expected graduation no earlier than Summer 2028.
• Hybrid internship: 3 days per week in our London office.
• Full-time, paid internship — interns are expected not to be enrolled full-time while working at Samsara.

Responsibilities

• Work across backend, frontend, and edge AI initiatives on Samsara’s connected operations platform.
• Contribute to scalable systems handling millions of IoT devices and petabytes of data.
• Partner with product and design to rapidly iterate on features that deliver real customer value.
