Job summary

EY Jersey is offering a four-week undergraduate internship in Assurance for summer 2027. This paid programme requires Jersey residency or valid work permissions. You will work with Associates and clients to deliver efficient assurance services, gaining practical audit exposure and professional growth.

As part of a high-performing team, you’ll develop communication, teamwork and IT skills, while learning about EY’s approach to client challenges and industry issues within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A-Levels/Highers or equivalent.
• Studying towards a degree.
• Local to Jersey or a close family connection to the Islands.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of accurate assurance documentation for review.
• Assist in nominated audit area(s) and/or delivery of smaller clients.
• Gain an in depth understanding of the audit process from peers.
• Complete work allocated to you by team members within agreed deadlines.
• Gain understanding of client/business issues using knowledge resources.
• Gather and assist in data analysis and perform low level audit testing.
• Develop an effective working relationship with assigned teams.
• Seek opportunities to expand your knowledge.
• Be proactive about your learning and development.
