University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a Ward Sister to lead on G4, a 17-bedded regional ward serving surgical, urological and nephrology patients including paediatric haemat dialysis. The post offers development opportunities through dedicated clinical facilitators and a commitment to staff training.

You will supervise nursing staff, lead on ward rounds and HUDDLEs, and support the ward manager. Post-qualification experience in acute paediatric environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Nurse (Degree/Diploma).
• Registered nurse on appropriate part of the register.
• Significant post registration experience in a relevant speciality.

Responsabilités

• Supervising the professional work of nursing staff on the ward.
• Encouraging effective working relationships.
• Providing leadership and support to staff on the ward.
• Participating in supporting the ward manager in their absence.
