Job description
Overview

We\'re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to become part of our friendly, welcoming Paediatric team. This is a Part Time position, 34.5 hours per week. You\'ll play a key part in carrying out duties to support all staff in the care of babies, children and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all ward facilities and equipment are tidy, clean and available for use for children, parents and staff.
  • Clean cots, beds, incubators and medical equipment as required.
  • Ensure all areas are kept well stocked as necessary.
  • Maintain stock usage and report shortfalls to the senior sister for ordering.
  • Assist families resident in family rooms as requested by nursing staff and ensure family rooms are kept clean and comfortable, making beds as needed.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Front facing clinical role where a high level of spoken and written English language is required.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and prepared to deliver high quality care with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to participate in the development opportunities described (paid apprenticeship, Level 2 Health Care Apprenticeship, Care Certificate training).
